About The Boulder Torch Club

The Boulder Torch Club meets on the third Thursday of the Month, from September through May of each year. The club meets at the Spice of Life Events Center at the Flatirons Golf Course at 5706 Arapahoe Avenue in Boulder. Directions. Meetings start at 6:15 pm with an informal cocktail hour, followed at 6:45 with a catered dinner. The evening's program begins at 7:45 and normally lasts until around 9:00.

The Boulder Torch Club was chartered in April 1960.

It is a member of the International Association of Torch Clubs (IATC) and proposes to unite professionals in bonds of better understanding. It affords an opportunity for fellowship and to promote the culture which is the common background of professional life. The Torch Club champions no cause and subscribes to no scheme for community uplift.

The Torch Club promotes free interchange of opinion among its members on subjects civic, religious, philosophic, scientific, economic and artistic. By comparison, it views and stimulates a broader growth of thought and culture.

Each member of the Boulder Torch Club is expected to prepare and present verbally an issue paper, proposition or thesis which is at least enlightened and at best discussable.
